Through my own lived experience with mental health challenges and the support of compassionate therapists who helped me navigate trauma and healing, I was drawn to the counseling field with a deep commitment to helping others feel understood, supported, and empowered in their own growth.
I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely accepted. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity, while also being honest and direct when needed. I believe humor and human connection are important parts of the healing process, and I aim to make therapy feel approachable rather than intimidating or overly clinical.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also integrating attachment-based work, person-centered therapy, and holistic approaches to mental health. I believe emotional wellbeing is deeply connected to the relationship between the mind and body, and I often help clients explore how stress, trauma, anxiety, and depression can manifest physically through symptoms such as sleep difficulties, fatigue, appetite changes, tension, panic, and overall nervous system dysregulation. I encourage clients to view healing through a comprehensive lens that includes emotional health, physical health, lifestyle patterns, relationships, self-care, and overall balance.
I value helping clients build sustainable routines and habits that support long-term wellness, and I recognize the importance of factors such as sleep, nutrition, movement, medical care, and routine lab work in understanding and supporting mental health concerns. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves as a whole person — mind, body, and spirit — while developing practical tools to navigate life with greater confidence and stability.
