Using a person-centered and neurodivergent-affirming lens, I recognize and honor the unique strengths, experiences, and identities each person brings to the therapeutic process. I am passionate about providing inclusive, affirming care that respects individual differences while helping you build practical skills for everyday life.
My priority is to provide you with a warm, nonjudgmental presence. I work collaboratively with you to identify strengths, develop coping skills, and create achievable goals that align with your values and needs. I strongly believe therapy should be an empowering space where you can explore challenges openly while building confidence and self-understanding. I believe that approaching difficult situations with empathy, humor, and authenticity can significantly improve the therapeutic experience.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help navigate anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. DBT helps to identify and manage intense emotions, cope with difficult situations, and improve relationships by balancing acceptance and change. CBT helps you to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop effective skills in changing those thought patterns. My therapeutic style balances validation and support with goal-oriented strategies that encourage growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and advocacy for accessible, affirming mental health care for all individuals, including neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ communities.
