You deserve to work with someone who understands that healing is possible. My path to becoming a counselor was inspired by witnessing the power of hope, connection, and healing through my own journey with trauma. That experience allows me to approach therapy with genuine empathy, compassion, and an appreciation for the courage it takes to ask for support. Having experienced the counseling process from the client’s perspective, I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered as you move toward the life you want to build.
I believe counseling is a collaborative relationship built on trust, respect, and safety. I am committed to creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. While I can be direct when needed, I approach each client with empathy, authenticity, and respect. Confidentiality and emotional safety are foundational to my work.
My counseling style is creative, engaging, and individualized. Whether using hands-on activities, visual demonstrations, or traditional therapeutic approaches, I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and learning style. I want clients to leave sessions feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the possibility of change.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, PTSD, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I frequently incorporate concepts such as the Zones of Regulation to help clients build emotional awareness and develop effective coping strategies.
I am passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, develop resilience, challenge unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful change. My hope is that the growth and skills gained in therapy continue to support clients long after our work together is complete.
