I believe that true healing begins in a dedicated “comfy cave” for the mind and soul—a warm, deeply authentic space where you can drop your armor and just catch your breath. Before transitioning to private practice, I served as a Clinical Specialist at the South Carolina Department of Social Services (SC DSS)—an experience that taught me the intricacies of the system, sharpened my ability to fiercely advocate for families, and, most importantly, fueled my passion as a dedicated foster youth advocate. Drawn to the stories of how we survive and adapt, I am deeply passionate about witnessing those quiet moments of resilience where a client realizes they are stronger than the things that happened to them. Guided by values of radical non-judgment, authenticity, and respect for your autonomy, my counseling style is collaborative, intuitive, and gently grounding rather than rigid or clinical. In a typical session with me, children and young adults can expect deep, meaningful conversations where we slow down the overwhelm, celebrate your unique grit, and look at the gray areas of life together.

I focus on helping individuals navigate messy life transitions, heal old emotional wounds, manage daily burnout, and break old patterns to design a life that genuinely feels like theirs. To do this, I blend evidence-based practices like Relational Therapy—which uses our human connection to understand how you relate to the world—with a Strengths-Based, Person-Centered approach that honors you as the expert of your own story. I also place a heavy emphasis on somatic therapy and mindfulness, allowing us to connect the mind and body so we can gently untangle where trauma and stress are held physically, while working together to create a personalized, sustainable routine tailored specifically to your unique nervous system needs. Clients and colleagues often share that my naturally insightful and comforting presence makes it incredibly easy to talk about things that usually feel terrifying to say out loud; I look forward to offering you that steady anchor, connecting the dots of your history, and walking alongside you toward a resilient future.
